Ojibwa Casino

The casino, owned and operated by the Keweenaw Bay Indian community, features slots, video poker, blackjack, craps, 3 Card and 3-5-7 poker, Texas Hold ’em live, as well as, bingo.

Alberta Village Museum

This unique Village with its sawmill was built by Henry Ford in the midst of his Northern Forest holdings. It was to become one of his Village Industries, which were common in Lower Michigan.

Baraga County Historical Museum

Everything from prehistoric to present day artifacts (including Bishop Baraga)in our collection. We also have information on the logging and the railroads in our area from years past. Open Tuesday through Saturday.

Bishop Baraga Shrine

While in the Keweenaw area you will want to include a stop at the beautiful Bishop Baraga Shrine located just north of L’Anse. Erected in May, 1972, this religious historical monument commemorates the work of Bishop Frederick Baraga.

Hanka Homestead Museum

This homestead encompasses 40 acres where visitors can experience the family home, barns, hen house, grainery, blacksmith shop, sauna, root cellar and milk house. The farm was occupied for 70 years by the Hanka family

L’Anse Golf Course

The 9-hole “L Anse” course at the L’Anse Golf Club facility in Lanse, Michigan features all the hallmarks of Michigan golf. L Anse golf course opened in 1962. Paul Sinkowski manages the course as the General Manager.
